Nonlinear Web Novels

Nonlinear novels on Tellura don't tell their story in chronological order. Flashbacks, framed narratives, time-jumps, and parallel timelines all qualify. Distinct from time-travel, which is a plot element, nonlinear is a structural choice.

The structure is a claim about meaning: an author reorders events because the chronological version would not say the same thing. Flashbacks that recontextualise, timelines that converge, endings shown first. Keep it distinct from time-travel, where the characters move through time; here only the telling does. If the reordering is doing real work, the last chapter changes what the first one meant.
